BEADED POLYPROPYLENE (BPP) CORE

The foundation for Soft+Tough Performance Technology™ is our beaded polypropylene core, the finest softboard core available on the market today.
Beaded Poly-Pro is closed-cell, making it more resistant to water absorption (vs. extruded cores used in other softboards that absorb water more easily).
Beaded Poly-Pro is memory foam, making it impact and crush resistant. No wonder the automotive industry uses it inside car bumpers.
Beaded Poly-Pro is also super-lightweight and very buoyant. This allows our boards to catch waves easier than comparable-sized hardboards.
We then use a state-of-the-art CNC machine to cut our cores, allowing us to create performance shapes previously found only in hardboards.

Y-BEAM STRINGER SYSTEM

Developed to provide ever-last stiffness and perfect flex, the Y-Beam Stringer System™ is a whole new twist on surfboard support technology.
The Y-Beam Stringer System™ is handmade into the core using wood, fiberglass and epoxy resin. This permanently fuses the stringer into the board for an amazingly durable and stiff support system.
Most softboards today mold their core around wood rods for support. These rods eventually work loose from the foam causing it to lose strength/support and then eventually break.
The Y-Beam Stringer System™ is based on the structural integrity of I-beam design and the principals of positive-negative tension. If we told you more we would have to kill you

TOP & BOTTOM SLICK SKIN WITH PERFORMANCE RAILS
|

|
Soft+Tough Performance Technology™ seals the top and bottom of the board with premium slick skin to provide extra strength, durability and water resistance.
The rails are then handmade using top-quality Sealed-Air® Foam, a manufacturing process that allows us to enhance performance significantly by shaping rails to hardboard standards.
Top and bottom slick skin seals more surface area than traditional softboards, making them more water resistant and longer lasting vs. the competition.
Top skin requires surf wax just like your hardboard for traditional feel and superior grip. It also will not give you a rash like other softboards.
Our rails are hand-shaped using the same design characteristics as hardboards. They are soft for your safety.

FLUSH-MOUNTED FIN BOXES WITH HIGH-PERFORMANCE FINS

Our boards have real, flush-mounted surfboard fin boxes that do not allow water to penetrate the core. Other softboards simply drill holes through the boards and insert flimsy plastic fins. These holes make the board a sponge, causing it to absorb water.
By having flush mounted boxes (vs. pop-through fins), our boards have smooth tops. So no more annoying plastic fin screws.
Our boards also hold and come with true high-performance surfboard fins.
Our shortboards use O'Fish'L Original™ Fin Boxes and come standard with high-performance O'Fish'L™ fins. These fin boxes also hold 4 3/8" Futures Fins™ .
Our longboards use a Bahne & Co.™ fin box and come standard with a performance Bahne & Co.™ longboard fin. This fin box can hold any standard longboard fin.

AFTERBURNER REAR RAILS
|
|
|
Afterburner™ real rails are another brilliant Tom Morey invention. These rails accomplish many things. They improve hold, drive and trim without the drag associated with tradition surf fins. Afterburner™ rails also have a hard edge that provides the sort of turning performance found only on hardboards.
