Triple overhead waves
Yesterday some of the Catch Surf team went down to Salt Creek to have a nice little beach day and test out some of the new 2011 Catch Surf boards that will be out in a couple weeks. Yes, the waves weren’t pumping and 6-8ft as you can see above, but it didn’t matter because our boards are a blast in small summertime surf like this! Below are a couple lifestyle pix our art director Fede took while we were down there and more action photos will be posted in the next couple days!

Morgan Just Beater Sex Change 1
During the Battle of the Beater, riders were doing all kinds of new moves and one of them that was quite popular was the “Sex Change” which is a move made popular by Bill “Beaker” Bryan. A Sex Change is when you ollie and at the same time you twist your body 180 degrees and switch your stance before you land. Here Morgan Just demostrates one during his heat in the Battle of the Beater. Notice that Morgan is riding goofy foot before he does the trick.
