Surf cranks in SoCal!!!

January 22nd and 23rd brought some heavy surf to the west coast and mokitom.com shared some sweet photos he clicked during the swell. Here is a pretty cool shot of a bodyboarder scoping a heavy empty right coming through at Aliso on the 22nd.

An unknown bodyboard scoops into a nice foamy shack! If anyone knows who this is, let us know!

Our Division 71 guy Chris Monroe paddled out solo at gravels and was able to pick off a few big walls, but later found the paddle was the reason for no one else being out. Chris reported that the Black Lite core worked insane in the chunkier conditions.

Division 71’s new grom Taylor Page hit up a secret spot in Laguna and scored some pretty heavy pits including this little doozie! Taylor was riding his prototype Black Lite 39″ board.

With gravels being a little unmanagable, Chris met up with Taylor in Laguna to get a couple corners. The little bowls allowed for clean barrels and fun open face manuevers. Keep checking back as we will be adding more shots from the recent run of swells.

Hi – is there a division 71 website? Where could I find out more about the boards.
